Open to children in grades from 7 and 8th grade. Students will learn how to read recipes and interpret cooking/baking terminology and using pastry bads with decorating tips.
Other skills that will be used include: Physics, chemistry, art, engineering and most imortantly their imaginations!
Attendees will take away: Completed basic gingerbread house, pastry bag, frosting coupling and tip, recipe and house pattern.
Class size is limited to 15 participants.

Ms.Merry has 22 years experience in teaching Home Econ, Family and Consumer Science and Visual Arts.
She has placed in the Top Ten Winners at the National Gingerbread House Competition in Ashville, NC 4 times to date and still competes. In 2007, she placed 3rd in the National Gingerbread House Compitition.
