About Jami Lee
"I'm not a chef, but I've been eating successfully my whole life" is always a precursor to Jami Lee's explanation of how the vision came together for Columbia's Culinary Arts Center. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for the community, the vision for a food venue where local talent can gather around the table and feed the community was born. Jami Lee moved to Columbia in 2010 as a photographer, mother of 7 and passionate about teaching people to eat healthy. In 2018 laws changed and the cottage kitchen permit was no longer available putting small foodprenuers at risk. In June 2018 our 3,000 sq ft commercial kitchen with event space was launched providing a marketing support system to our local talented Chefs.
Most days you will find Jami Lee with at least a half a dozen kiddos working behind the scenes here at the Culinary Arts Center located at 1200 S. Garden St. in Columbia.
